Bendigo Primary Care Centre has a number of health professionals working here including nurse educators, dieticians, diabetic educators, physio mental health nurse and specialists. Whilst each health professional may attend the centre to conduct a specific clinic, everyone working in the centre is part of the team providing health services to the community of Bendigo.

One of the common themes to bring the team together is the focus on teaching and learning across the whole centre. Everyone participates in teaching and learning.

The centre is located in the health, education and research precinct along with the Monash University Bendigo Regional Clinical School and the Bendigo Health hospital and rehabilitation campuses. In 2012 La Trobe University Rural Health School opened to provide clinical training for allied health and nursing students. This central location with other health and teaching facilities offers endless opportunities for collaboration with health professionals, research opportunities and joint teaching sessions.

Health professionals within the centre are led by a Clinical Director who works closely with a Nursing Team Leader, Medical Team Leader and Chronic Disease clinic Manager to provide support to all the health professionals working in the centre.
